There are over 2300 valve manufacturers in our country, offering several categories of valve products, over 3500 varieties, and over 40000 specifications.
Urban construction valves are generally used in urban construction systems, and are currently developing towards environmentally friendly and energy-saving directions. Environmentally friendly rubber plate valves, balance valves, centerline butterfly valves, and metal sealed butterfly valves are gradually replacing low-pressure iron gate valves. The valves required for urban construction in China are mostly balance valves, soft sealed gate valves, butterfly valves, etc.
Valves for urban heating
In urban heat generation systems, a large number of metal sealed butterfly valves, horizontal balance valves, and buried ball valves are required to solve the problem of longitudinal and transverse hydraulic imbalance in pipelines, achieving the goal of energy conservation and heat generation balance.
Environmentally friendly valves
In the domestic environmental protection system, the water supply system mainly requires the use of centerline butterfly valves, soft sealed gate valves, ball valves, and exhaust valves (used to remove air from pipelines). The sewage treatment system mainly requires the use of soft sealed gate valves and butterfly valves.
Valves for urban gas use
Urban gas accounts for 22% of the entire natural gas market, with a large usage of valves and a variety of types. We mainly need ball valves, plug valves, pressure reducing valves, and safety valves.
Valves for long-distance pipelines
Long distance pipelines mainly include crude oil, finished products, and natural pipelines. The valves that require the majority of this type of pipeline are forged steel three body full bore ball valves, sulfur resistant flat gate valves, safety valves, and check valves.
Valves for petrochemical plants
a. Refinery equipment. The valves required for refining equipment are mostly pipeline valves, mainly including gate valves, globe valves, check valves, safety valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, and drain valves. Among them, gate valves account for about 80% of the total number of valves (valves account for 3% to 5% of the total investment of the equipment).
b. Chemical fiber equipment. Chemical fiber products mainly include three categories: polyester, acrylic, and vinylon. The required valves include ball valves, jacketed valves (jacketed ball valves, jacketed gate valves, jacketed globe valves).
c. Acrylonitrile unit. This device generally requires valves produced according to API standards, mainly including gate valves, globe valves, check valves, ball valves, drain valves, needle valves, and plug valves. Among them, gate valves account for about 75% of the total number of valves.
d. Synthetic ammonia unit. Due to different synthetic ammonia raw materials and purification methods, the process flow and technical performance of the required valves also vary. At present, domestic synthetic ammonia plants mainly require gate valves, globe valves, check valves, drain valves, butterfly valves, ball valves, diaphragm valves, regulating valves, needle valves, safety valves, and high-temperature and low-temperature valves.
e. Ethylene plant. The ethylene plant is the leading unit in the petrochemical industry, and it requires a wide variety of valves. Gate valves, globe valves, check valves, and lift stem ball valves account for the majority, with gate valves being the most common. In the 15th Five Year Plan, six sets of ethylene plants with an annual output of 660000 tons need to be built nationwide, and the demand for their valves is considerable. In addition, large ethylene and high-pressure polyethylene plants also require the use of high-temperature, low-temperature, and high-pressure valve series products.
f. Air separation device. "Air separation" refers to air separation, which mainly requires globe valves, safety valves, check valves, regulating valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, and low-temperature valves.
g. Polypropylene plant. Polypropylene is a polymer compound formed by polymerization of propylene as raw material. This device mainly requires gate valves, globe valves, check valves, needle valves, ball valves, and drain valves.
Valves for power plants
The construction of power stations in our country is developing towards large-scale development, so large diameter and high-pressure safety valves, pressure reducing valves, globe valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, emergency shut-off valves, flow control valves, and spherical sealed instrument globe valves are needed. (According to the "Fifteen Year Plan", except for Inner Mongolia and Guizhou provinces, only units with a capacity of over 200000 kilowatts can be built, while other provinces and cities can only build units with a capacity of over 300000 kilowatts).
Metallurgical valves
The behavior of alumina in the metallurgical industry mainly requires the use of wear-resistant slurry valves (in flow shut-off valves) and regulating drain valves. The steelmaking industry mainly requires metal sealed ball valves, butterfly valves, oxidation ball valves, shut-off flash valves, and four-way directional valves.
Marine flat valve
With the development of offshore oil field exploitation, the number of valves required for offshore horizontal development is gradually increasing. Offshore platforms require shut-off ball valves, check valves, and multi way valves.
Valves for food and medicine
The industry mainly requires stainless steel ball valves, non-toxic all plastic ball valves, and butterfly valves.
